Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains how AppKatz Software, a registered trade name of LaunchWizard, LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies on appkatz.com. It complements our Privacy Policy, which has the broader picture of how we handle information.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember preferences, to measure usage, and to support advertising. Similar technologies, such as local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels, work in comparable ways and are covered by this notice.

2. Cookies we use

We currently use cookies in two categories:

2.1 Strictly necessary

Some cookies are required for the website and its services to function, for example the session cookie that keeps you logged in (where applicable) or that maintains the integrity of a checkout flow. These cookies do not require your consent. Without them, parts of the site would not work.

2.2 Advertising and analytics

Our product pages include the Google Ads tag (gtag.js, account AW-18026837405). Google Ads sets cookies that allow Google to:

Google is an independent data controller for the data collected through these cookies. Information about the cookies Google sets, their purposes, and their lifetimes is available in Google's Cookie Notice.

2.3 Third-party services on transactional pages

When you initiate a purchase, our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., may set cookies on the checkout page or in any embedded payment form for fraud prevention and to support the payment flow. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.

3. How long cookies last

Cookies vary in lifetime. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set duration (from minutes up to two years for some advertising cookies). The exact lifetimes for third-party cookies are governed by their respective providers.

4. How to manage cookies

4.1 Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies. The location of these controls varies; the help pages for major browsers explain the options:

Blocking all cookies will likely break parts of the site that depend on session or checkout cookies.

4.2 Google opt-out

You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com, and you can install the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4.3 Industry opt-out tools

The following industry sites let you opt out of interest-based advertising from many advertisers at once:

4.4 "Do Not Track"

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on what this signal means, and we do not currently take any specific action in response. Your other choices described in this notice remain available.

5. Consent (EEA / UK)

If you visit our site from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, applicable law requires that non-essential cookies (advertising and analytics cookies) be set only with your consent. Where required, we will obtain that consent through a cookie banner or similar mechanism, and you can change your choices at any time.

Operational note: a consent-management banner that gates the Google Ads tag for EEA/UK visitors is the standard control here. If you have not implemented one yet, the safest interim posture is to assume non-essential cookies require consent for those visitors.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Notice when our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
